Back to sort of real life

School has now started, everyone is in the apartment and we have already had some very interesting experiences.

I got my books and it came out to be $508. Ridiculous! I am taking Floral Design, Geography 101, Living Prophets, Utah History, History 202 and perhaps Spanish but I haven't decided if I am going to keep it.

First Day of School!!!! Junior year is here and I cannot believe it. How have I been in Provo for 2 1/2 years now. It's incredible and I believe this year will be full of new surprises with working while being in school, a new ward, new apartment and with Erin living in Utah too! It's going to be GREAT!

So one of the interesting experiences we have had so far is that someone (we have yet to solidify who did it) decided to open every single cabinet, stove, microwave, you name it and it was open when Shelby forgot to lock the door for only TWENTY minutes! That's it! They did some more shenanigans as well.

Like flipping our bowls and plates.

And opening these drawers, flipping all the movies, games and temple pictures.
We have a few suspects but none have fully confessed.

Last Days

There is only a week left before school starts again and this past week has been pretty busy.
I got off the airplane and went straight to the pool to see my family. All of my nieces and nephews were there and Tyler, Melinda, Shauna, Tiffany, Erin, Savannah, Mom and Dad were there too.

This is the best picture I could get of all of my little angels.

Erin and I drove to Utah together....I should actually say that I drove to Utah while Erin was asleep. Can I just say I do not like her car at all....the whole soft top thing...not for me especially when driving 9ish hours in the middle of nowhere. And can't you tell how excited we are!!!

If you haven't had the red velvet pancakes from IHOP, you are missing out. They were so good! I didn't taste too much red velvet but the cream cheese frosting on the pancakes was superb! It wasn't too sugary or sweet, I thought it was perfect.

Erin, Mom and I went to the Brigham City Utah temple open house on Saturday. It was wonderful and if you are in Utah between now and September 15th go check it out! You can see what times to go at https://templeopenhouse.lds.org/ . It was so wonderful and beautiful and I truly know that these places that are spotting the earth are the Lord's houses. The peaceful feeling and the joy that is felt has no other explanation. I cannot wait for the day to be sealed to my future husband (whoever he is) for time and all eternity and to create an eternal family.

After the open house we went to Grandma Sundberg's house and chatted with her and Aunt Meg. We watched President Monson's 85th birthday celebration and then headed to Aunt Lynne and Uncle Cliff's house. Seeing family reminds me of how perfect and wonderful Heavenly Father's plan really is.

Tomorrow Erin and I move into our new apartment complex. I'm super excited and so there will probably be another post about that within the week!

Homeless (but not really)

This past weekend I had to move out of my old apartment and so I have not exactly had a solid home for the last three nights. It has been an adventure.

So on Saturday, I moved out and had work all day. I spent the night with Shelby at Sharyti's apartment (a girl from our work). We then went to a breakfast party at Kurtis' apartment and went to sacrament meeting. From there we went to a girl in Kurtis' EMT class's confirmation because she got baptized that Saturday. From there we went to the Jordan River temple and the Oquirrh Mountain temple because what else were we supposed to do.

That night I went to Eric and Kelley Birkeland's house to stay for the next few days. I am so grateful to them and had a wonderful time with their three girls. We went to the zoo and played Ticket to Ride and watched some Harry Potter. It was wonderful.

Now I am just sitting in the airport waiting to go back to California where I will immediately be going to a family pool party which I am so excited to go to because I love love love my family.

Here I come California!

And there we have it.

The Beginning

So I told myself not to start a blog until I got married but I can't wait any longer. So here goes my attempt to blog.

As of right now I plan to do a sort of 365 days thing on a blog rather than on Facebook. We will see how that goes. School is starting back up in a couple weeks and so starting on a blog now is good because in a couple of weeks my life will be quite busy with work, school, homework, church, and all the other things that life brings.

So I guess I will give a recap of my summer....these pictures are not going to be in order because I'm too lazy to figure out what happened when and then organize the pictures.

At some point during the summer, a few friends and I drove down to Cedar City area and watched the solar eclipse.

I went longboarding for the first time ever and fell a few times but this will not stop me from trying again, I will just have to go with very patient people.  It was quite fun and would have been much more fun if I did not have a time constraint.

I went home in June for Erin's graduation and while there Dad, Savannah, Ciera and I went to an Angel's game. I do love baseball and I just saw the movie Moneyball and will be owning that very soon.

Melinda and the girls came up to Provo for a Grandma Sundberg's summer party in June so I got to hang out with them for a little while. I LOVE when family visits.

A group of us went down to Manti to see the Mormon Miracle Pageant. It was fun to be with friends and I am definitely glad I have now seen this performance.

Shauna and Freddy and the boys got sealed for time and all eternity in April and it was such an exciting weekend to be with family. Shauna and Freddy have beat a lot of odds and I am so proud of them and love them so much!

I got to spend a week with Savannah while Erin, Mom, and Dad were on their trip so we went to my work and did lots of fun things together.

Rylin got baptized! It was another wonderful day for our family. She has grown up so much and I cannot believe it!

That's pretty much it. It's a long post but oh well.
